A Place for Beginning Volleyball Players...

Cowtown Academy Video

Check out this video and get a peek inside about our Academy program.....

What is Cowtown Academy?

The short answer....this is the place to come to LEARN HOW TO PLAY VOLLEYBALL!

The Academy program is designed to prepare athletes to play in a team environment. It is a step above a recreational league but without the demands of a club level program. Each athlete is placed in a division based on their age and skill level.  All coaches are paid experts. They help guide each athlete to develop as leaders on the court and adapt to play with any environment.

All the games are modified to help the athletes understand all parts of the game. Coaches modify the rules and adapt to allow most efficient use of the play, and to make sure beginners learn to love to play and have fun!

Pricing & Dates

Players attend 1 practice (1.5 hrs) per week and play 1 "tournament" at the end of the 5 week training session.

**We encourage our PARENTS to participate with their child during the Academy sessions, but it is not required...Only HIGHLY ENCOURAGED**

We stress the fundamentals of volleyball during practices while incorporating them into game situations for league games.

Teams will be divided by age and skill level.  We take time to train the players before we form them into teams at the end for the 4 weeks for an end of session "tournament".
